Dealers are pretty tough people. They show alertness and concentration in everything that they do especially when in front of the poker table. Learning how to deal Texas Holdem poker is a very amazing job. Playing is definitely not that easy, and so is the act of dealing itself. This is probably one of the most underrated jobs in the game of poker. Let's take a closer look at why this is so.
In Texas Holdem poker, dealers usually start the game by organizing the posting of pots. They then move on to make the first deal of the game by dealing the first and only two cards that each and every poker player would receive in that particular game. They will then have to organize once again the pre-flop stage where a betting round will take place. They will then have to determine the different moves of every player.
Those who have folded and cannot continue to play the game should be determined by the dealers, and so are the remaining Texas Holdem poker players who have checked, called or raised bets. As the play continues, the dealer would then have to push through with the flop stage where another betting round will take place. The dealer would have to do the same process as the previous stage after exposing three community cards for every player to see.
As the play continues, the dealer would then have to push through with the turn stage which will be closely followed by another betting round. In this stage, another community card will also have to be opened for all the remaining players to use in building their poker hands. And this job is definitely not entirely over yet. The dealer would have to let the action push through as two or more players remain active in the game.
In the river stage, the dealer would then have to open the fifth and final community card of the Texas Holdem poker game. Those who have folded will be eliminated and those who have still made a way to check, call or raise would have to stay in for a final showdown. The dealer would be tasked to determine who the real winner of this particular game by asking the remaining active players to expose their poker hands for everybody else to see.
The one with the most superior hands wins the game and the ultimate pot as well. The job of the dealers aren't done yet as they would also be assigned to give the pot to the winner. This move will mark the final act of another successfully controlled and organized game for the dealers. It is also the responsibility of the dealers to make sure that there are no protests or questions after each and every successful game.
